Around Baton Rouge

Here are some photos taken in my hometown, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The large white building is the Old State Capitol (旧州庁 ), built in 1849. It is now a museum of Louisiana culture. The building is on a hill by the Mississippi River. Mark Twain, the author who wrote Tom Sawyer, once said that it was the ugliest building on the river, but I think it is beautiful.
The other pictures show a lake in my hometown. People enjoy walking or jogging around it, and some people go fishing there. The birds are pelicans, which come to the lake in winter.
