Here are some photos taken in my hometown, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The large white building is the Old State Capitol (旧州庁 ）, built in 1849. It is now a museum of Louisiana culture. The building is on a hill by the Mississippi River. Mark Twain, the author who wrote Tom Sawyer, once said that it was the ugliest building on the river, but I think it is beautiful.
The other pictures show a lake in my hometown. People enjoy walking or jogging around it, and some people go fishing there. The birds are pelicans, which come to the lake in winter.
